What follows are frequently asked questions about managing your account. Click the question to hear the question and answer. Each answer is followed by a back to top link that leads back to the list of questions.

What is the 'My eBook Account' page?

The 'My eBook Account' section is a collection of links you can use to access your account information. When you attempt to access this section of the site, you will be prompted to enter your NRDS ID into a secure sign in form. We require your NRDS ID to ensure the security of your account.

What is the 'My eBookshelf' page?

The 'My eBookshelf' page lists all of the materials you currently have checked out. You can download materials from the 'My eBookshelf' page.

What is 'My Waiting List'?

The 'My Waiting List' page lists all titles that you have currently placed on hold. You'll receive an email notification once a title you have placed on hold becomes available. Note that if a title has become available since you placed the hold, an 'Add to eBookBag' link will be displayed next to the available title. Use this link to add the title to your eBookBag and check out.

What is the 'Wish List' page?

You can use the 'Wish List' page to save a list of titles that you are interested in checking out, including titles that have not yet been released.

What is 'My PID Registration'?

Every copy of Mobipocket® Reader contains a PID, a 10 character code that uniquely identifies that copy of Mobipocket Reader. Upon download, this system uses the PID to tie a Mobipocket eBook you borrow to the device(s) on which you want to read it. At the 'My PID Registration' screen, you can register up to 3 PIDs to your account, and review previously entered PIDs. For more information on PIDs, click here.
